HDD: Western Digital Black - 2TB - DesktopĪnd all required Workaround Graphics Packs for NVIDIA users. GPU: ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA 1080 Ti OC Edition I already had another video up since a week ago but YouTube seemingly botched it and it refused to render even the HD resolutions. I also need to get more hard drive space to hold all of these videos and for storing more games but I should be able to do that soon, along with some other upgrades to my PC to improve performance in games.įinally, forgive me for my sub-par gameplay in this video, I had a lot of IRL distractions while recording and didn't want to do the whole thing over again.
Full playthroughs of games in emulators at 4K 60 FPS is something I've been wanting to do on YouTube for the past 6 months or so but I haven't been able to due to most of the games I wanted to cover not being where I need them to be, but that is beginning to change recently. Once these issues are fixed, the game should be ready for me to do a proper playthrough in CEMU for YouTube. There are some bugs that prevent the game being fully playable at 60 FPS with FPS++, mainly that the Thunderblight Ganon boss fight is broken with FPS++, and shield surfing deceleration is stronger than it should be. I also haven't quite completed my shader cache yet so I still get some occasional shader stutter. The game remains close to around 60 FPS in most scenarios though some areas like the Great Plateau can still dip into the 45-50 FPS range on my system. You can’t do that with typical depictions of realism.Īnd now to wait for the world to come around to this idea when it comes to Wind Waker.Breath of the Wild is pretty close to a fully playable state in CEMU, even at 4K 60 FPS. Breath of the Wild isn’t an ordinary experience the developers have to communicate a sense of magic and wonder. Personally, I'm not sure this version looks better than the original - as one commenter in the video says, it “looks like a fanmade UE4 game.” But, if nothing else, this footage is a great reminder that art direction makes a tremendous difference in the look and feel of a game. But, most notably, it’s got the cel shading turned off - which makes the game look entirely different. The reflections and smoke are better in this version, for example, and the game is running at 60 fps. This version, which is showcased by YouTuber Arkh Longstride, has a variety of graphical tweaks and optimizations that spiff up the performance. What you’re viewing is the PC “version” of the game, which is emulated and therefore open to modifications.
